DANA HARMON, ARTIST

Originally from California where I grew up within the San Joaquin Valley, I moved to Central Oregon where I have called Oregon home and have been a medical professional for the past several years.  I remember loving drawing portraits in pencil or oil painting when I was in high school.  But more recently, through painting with one of my two sons (an abstract/expressionist Artist and Musician/Composer) I have reawakened the passion to paint but with an entirely different medium and texture.  I call my style semi-abstract/semi-realistic impasto but with a twist.  I believe that there is a sensory connection between texture, color, and emotion.   We can all use a little extra love and a place of Zen in our home that brings us joy and a sense of peace.  It is my hope that I can bring that into your life through my paintings.

ARTIST'S NOTE

Hi! I hope you enjoyed visiting my website.  More than anything, I hope you enjoyed everything that your saw and how the paintings made your feel.  If something here made you smile, or you felt something good that you took away from your experience from being here, then that makes "me" happy!  I just want you to know, that any painting that you see on my site can be commissioned to be painted for you.  It will be an original, and unique.  So, even if you see a "SOLD" banner and you fell in love with the painting, I am still able to paint you your very own, unique design and in the size that you choose.  So, don't despair! My desire is to make beautiful paintings and bring happiness into your life whenever you look upon your amazing piece of art. ~ With Love, Dana
